This release introduces the Unique Visitors data type for a clearer picture of actual foot traffic, a significantly upgraded People Counter Edit with greater configuration flexibility, and a major infrastructure restructure that improves stability and reduces downtime across all locations.
Check out what's new:
Dashboard
- Unique Visitors. A new data type that distinguishes between multiple visits by the same person, giving you a more accurate measure of actual foot traffic and the true reach of your locations and zones. Launching first in the Cross Conversion and Cross Visitation widgets, with expansion to most widgets and the API coming soon.
Settings
- People Counter Edit. The people counter admin has been significantly upgraded. You can now define lines, buffer lines, merged lines, and zones to capture more detailed visitor data tailored to your location layout. Read the full guide here.
Stability and Performance
- Infrastructure stability. A major infrastructure restructure has been completed, addressing previous stability issues. Downtime is reduced and data and insights are more consistently available across all locations.
- Google Opening Hours. Google Opening Hours are now automatically imported for internal monitoring, keeping location schedules accurate during holidays and special hours. An option to choose between platform times and Google's schedules will be available soon.
- QA recording. The components for scheduling and measuring QA recordings are complete. Internal use starts immediately. Customers will soon be able to order and view QA results directly within the platform.
Maintenance
- Migration to a new Swedish datacentre is complete. This improves infrastructure monitoring and lays the foundation for an upcoming system dashboard showing key performance metrics.
- Fixed a Cross Conversion issue where widget values did not sum to 100%.
- Fixed an Excel export issue where 30 days of data were displayed weekly instead of daily.
