This release adds hourly bounce rate aggregation for more granular visitor engagement data, full Google Places integration to automate location settings and opening hours, and a rebuilt quality assurance system that is three times faster and processes more cameras simultaneously.
Check out what's new:
Dashboard
- Bounce rate aggregation. Bounce rate can now be measured per hour instead of per day, giving you more granular insight into visitor engagement patterns throughout the day. Rollout to data exports and widgets is coming soon.
Settings
-
Google Places integration. Location settings now connect directly to Google My Business data, automating opening hours and special holiday schedules. Tracking starts and stops at the right times automatically, including on public holidays, without manual configuration. The integration also uses Google My Business data to distinguish between system issues and actual location closures, improving monitoring accuracy and uptime measurement.
Some features are ready but will be released shortly, including Snapshot time management, extra processing time, and the technical contact email field.
Explore all Location Settings features - Quality Assurance v2. The quality assurance system has been fully rebuilt. It now processes more cameras simultaneously, reducing queue times. QA speed has increased by 300%, and anonymization during the QA process has been strengthened for greater privacy protection.
Maintenance
- Fixed a rare issue where locations in time zones far from CET were incorrectly identified as closed, causing inaccurate insight processing.
- Expanded ReID-based service monitoring following a bug identified last week. Extended API monitoring now detects abnormal behavior and potential blockages, and broader ReID service tracking ensures more reliable visitor recognition.
