This is the last release before the Summer Break. It brings location-linked zone filtering, drop-in rate measurement for specific zones and entrances, a new Merge Lines feature that improves counting accuracy to up to 99% in complex setups, and significant monitoring and stability improvements.
Check out what's new:
Dashboard
- Location-linked zone filter. When you select a location, the zone filter now shows only zones relevant to that location. Previously, all zones across the organization were displayed regardless of which location was selected. This makes data exploration faster, especially for organizations with many locations.
- Improved Excel exports. Exports for multiple zones now include one combined sheet for all zones plus individual sheets per zone. Dwell time data is formatted in minutes and seconds (hours coming soon), making it easier to perform advanced offline analysis.
- Drop-in rate for zones. Drop-in rate can now be measured for specific zones and entrances, not just locations. Create multiple passing-by lines and link them directly to zones by defining them as "Passing by" line types. Advanced settings allow you to exclude connecting paths such as escalators, so you can measure drop-in rates per floor, per entrance, or for the full location simultaneously.
- Sticky column in footfall breakdown. The first column in the footfall breakdown table is now fixed. When scrolling through data with dwell time filters applied, you can always see which zone each row belongs to.
Settings
- User settings page. A User Settings page has been added to the web admin. Currently view-only, with full editing capabilities coming soon.
- Merge lines. The new Merge Lines feature lets you combine multiple lines into shapes, significantly improving accuracy in complex camera setups. In some cases, accuracy has improved from around 85% to 99%. This is particularly useful for measuring tables, open product categories in stores, pop-up areas in malls or airports, and other layouts where single lines are not sufficient.
- Camera sorting in People Counter edit. Camera names are now sorted in correct numerical order, so Camera 1, Camera 2, Camera 10 display in the expected sequence rather than alphabetically.
- Improved context menus. In the People Counter editor, disabled options now show tooltips explaining why they are unavailable, and selected options are visually highlighted for clearer navigation.
Stability and Performance
- Infrastructure stability. Platform infrastructure has been updated to better handle unexpected scenarios such as sudden service restarts, reducing disruptions and improving reliability.
- Monitoring improvements. Server metrics and uptime are now tracked to the minute and collected centrally. This data will power the upcoming System Dashboard, where you can monitor reliability KPIs and submit support tickets. It also supports a new gap-filling feature in development: if data gaps occur due to connection or service downtime, Indivd will fill them using historical data while flagging the usage and providing full traceability.
