Connecting and adjusting angles on Provision cameras

Here are simple steps to help you connect to the camera and adjust its angle according to the instructions.

Option 1: Connect with a computer via RUT241 (IP Tool Manager)

1. Connect to WiFi
   • Connect your Windows laptop/PC to the RUT241 router or the customer's router via WiFi.
   • The login credentials are located on the underside of the router.
     
     
2. Download IP Tool Manager
   • Download and install IP Manager Tool_1.0.7.16.exe.
     
     
3. Scan the network
   • Open the program and click "Scan" to search for cameras on the network.
     
     
4. Activate cameras
   • When the cameras are found, activate them by entering the username, password, and the answer to the security question.
     
     
     
     
5. View live view
   • Double-click on the camera.
   • Enter the login credentials again if necessary to see the camera's live view.
     
     
6. Adjust the camera
   • Adjust the camera's angle as needed.
   • Ensure that the field of view matches what is specified in the 3D drawing.
     
     

Option 2: Connect with a computer via network cable (IP Tool Manager)

1. Connect with cable
   • Connect your Windows laptop/PC to the customer's router or PoE switch with a network cable.
     
     
2. Follow steps 2-6 from Option 1
   • Download IP Tool Manager and continue with the same steps as in Option 1.
     
     

Option 3: Use the mobile app "Provision Cam 2"

Note: You must have completed Option 1 or 2 first to activate the camera.

1. Connect to WiFi
   • Connect your mobile device to the RUT241 router or the customer's router via WiFi.
   • The login credentials are located on the underside of the router.
     
     
2. Download the app
   • Download Provision Cam 2 from the App Store or Google Play.
     
     
3. Prepare the app
   • Make sure you are not logged into the app.
     
     
     
     
4. Add cameras
   • Go to "Server List" in the app.
     
     
     
     
   • Select "Add Device".
     
     
     
     
   • Do a "Local Area Network Search" to scan for cameras.
     
     
     
     
   • When the camera is found, add it by entering the username and password.
   • Save the settings.
     
     
     
     
5. Adjust the camera
   • Open the camera's live view in the app.
   • Adjust the camera's angle as needed.
   • Check that the field of view matches the 3D drawing.
